Peace Light Passing After Service by the Boy Scouts Troop 23 & Troop 55

Messengers of Peace is a global service project program carried out by Scouts throughout the world.

On Saturday, December 1, 2018, the Peace Light arrived  in the USA at Our Lady of the Skies Chapel, Terminal 4, Upper Level JFK International Airport, Queens, New York for the first transfer of the light in the USA.

The light reached the scouts in our local community on Thursday evening, December 6th.

Troop 23 of Burlington and Troop 55 of Harwinton will be passing the light to the Congregational Church of Burlington members after service on December 16th.

If you’d like to receive the light to burn during this blessed season to remind us of the miracle of Christ’s birth and the peace that He worked so hard to spread throughout the world, please bring a jar candle or lantern
