Today’s music is a pairing of two songs by songwriter Michael Joncas— one familiar, one new.
“On Eagle’s Wings” – drawing from Psalm 91 – has been a favorite of many since it was written in the late 70’s. “Shelter Me” is brand new – a paraphrase of Psalm 23, written expressly for the pandemic.
We sang this through at online choir practice Monday and loved it (I suspect it will also become an instant classic)!
